Terms and Conditions

Last Updated 31/01/2007

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.

We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above). You will be asked to read and accept the terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current ones.

Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, manufacturer special offers and our added value services.

ORDERING ONLINE

You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the Submit Order button.

You can order our products displayed on the website by filling out the online order form. We will then send you an automated acknowledgement email. Please note that this is an acknowledgement and is not acceptance of your order.

Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we send you a second e-mail, which will confirm your order is being processed and contain details of how we will deliver your products to you.

PRICES, DESCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT

All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds. They are displayed both exclusive and inclusive of any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges.

Prices and descriptions of our goods are shown on our website. Descriptions are guidelines only and you should check specifications and suitability with manufacturers before ordering. We make every effort to ensure that the prices shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order and that we have the items in stock. If however we are unable to supply the order or if the price is different from the price on your order we will notify you as quickly as possible and you will have the option of cancelling your order and we will refund you any money that you have paid.

In addition to the price, you may be required to pay a delivery charge. You will be notified of this when you place your order.

You can pay by major credit/debit cards. Your payment details will be encrypted on our secure server to ensure that your details cannot be accessed by anyone other than Printware. We are unable to process part payments on any order.

DELIVERY

Delivery must be to an address in the United Kingdom. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox).

We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. You only pay one delivery charge, irrespective of the number of products ordered.

Most products are delivered either by courier or by post, depending on their size and value. Very occasionally different products in the same order may be delivered separately. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, the courier will leave a card with a contact number for you to call.

Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (but excluding bank holidays). If you order after 4.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day.

We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

MISSING, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all your products, please telephone 023 9262 3333. In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please telephone 023 9262 3333.

RETURNS

We believe that you will be delighted with your order but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

No returns will be accepted or processed without a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) number being issued by Printware Ltd. Goods are not supplied on a trial basis. Customers are responsible for verifying suitability and compatibility of goods BEFORE purchasing.

Your statutory rights under the ‘Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000’ and ‘The Sale of Goods Act 1979’ (including amendments) are not affected.

Unwanted Goods

If you are a business buyer you have no rights to return unwanted goods, however we may at our discretion permit you to do so.

If you are a consumer you can return any unopened goods, in original condition, which can be sold again as “new”, within 14 days after the day of receipt of the goods. You have a duty of care under the regulations to take care of the goods, so that they may be resold again by the company. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning the goods. Please email our Customer Care department customercare@printware.co.uk stating the reason for return, your order number, and request an RMA number. You will be refunded in full (except for delivery charges) once the goods have been received and confirmed “as new”. Printware reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 20% for any loss of value identified.

As a consumer you may also return unwanted goods after 14 working days, but within 30 days, after the day of receipt of the goods providing the item can be sold again “as new”. You will be liable for all administrative costs associated with the return of the goods, and this may well constitute a restocking fee. Please email our Customer Care department customercare@printware.co.uk stating the reason for return, your order number, and request an RMA number. Printware will advise of any costs you will be liable for at this point.

Goods must be received by Printware within 14 days of the RMA number being issued. Printware will not be held liable for goods lost or damaged in transit. Goods must be adequately packed and the RMA number clearly displayed without marking the original packaging.

Faulty Goods within 30 days

If there is a fault with your product you may return the product within 30 days of delivery for repair, replacement or refund. Please email our Customer Care department customercare@printware.co.uk to arrange a return.

Goods must be received by Printware within 14 days of the RMA number being issued. Printware will not be held liable for goods lost or damaged in transit. Customers are responsible for the delivery costs of returning goods. Any return found not to be defective or with faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse will incur a return freight charge.

When an item is to be replaced or refunded the goods must be in original packaging, and with all original boxes, packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards and all other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Goods must be adequately packed and the RMA number clearly displayed without marking the original packaging. Our promise to replace products or refund your money does not apply to faulty goods where the fault has been caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

Faulty Goods more than 30 days

Once your product is more than 30 days old (but within the manufacturers warranty) we will, in conjunction with the manufacturer, repair or replace it free of charge. It is solely at the discretion of Printware Limited as to whether a repair or replacement is provided. Please email our Customer Care department customercare@printware.co.uk stating the reason for return, your order number, and request an RMA number. This does not apply:

- To faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse.
- If you return the product to us without proof of purchase.
