The third black ink – light light black - gives you excellent greyscale performance and smoother tonal gradation for the ultimate in high quality black & white printing. And the use of the Advanced Black & White mode in the printer driver enables you to precisely control the tone of your monochrome images.

For colour printing, the wide colour gamut ensures that even the most vibrant saturated reds, greens and blues can be printed. The lighter inks mean that the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 gives you unrivalled reproduction of skin tones and can be used for perfect printing of watercolours, pastels and crayons. Epson UltraChrome K3 inks provide extremely high water, gas and light resistance so that your printed work will last for up to 150 years* - making them suitable for you to sell or use in long term displays. What's more, Epson UltraChrome K3 inks also give you superior short term colour stability so that you can take accurate colour measurements soon after printing. On suitable proofing media the colours will not visibly change after 30 minutes, making the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 a great printer for proofing.

To help you make the leap into professional printing, the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 is supplied with a comprehensive suite of software to enhance and simplify the workflow from image selection through to final printout - even for camera RAW files. In addition, it will be supported by professional software solutions such as Epson Stylus RIP Professional, Epson AlbumMaker and Epson PageProofer EX.
